Have you ever dreamt about the day, when you could converse with prominent professionals from all layers of society about contemporary issues, in the highest building of the Benelux? The Conference Day, which takes place on the 4th of April, will bring you this and much more! You are given the opportunity to come eye to eye with some of the most powerful business-people, influential politicians and innovative entrepreneurs of today. The strength of the Conference Day lays in its intimacy, characterized by its personal setting and contact. The working language of this day will be English. In dynamic discussions you will get the chance to share your views on wide spectrum of contemporary topics, and you will get inspired by their ‘unique’ perspective!
The Conference day is divided into three separate components: the Round Table Conversations, the Discussion Panel and the Game Round.
Round Table Conversations
During these rounds, groups consisting of approximately six students and two of our distinguished guest will partake in dialogue, about a wide variety of issues. Topics for the discussions will be introduced centrally by means of image, video material and expert’s speeches. After the introduction, each group will discuss the topics amongst themselves. In this phase, the problem orientated discussions, you can write down your comments on the tablecloth. When you turn to another table it is possible to read the views of your fellow students. This will lead to unique and lively conversations, all of which relate to current affairs and the day’s ‘Out of the Box’ mantra.
Discussion Panel
After an exquisite lunch, it is time for a panel of experts to take the floor, who will provide you with their latest insight on the changing dimensions/contours of the working environment. Where the growing discrepancy between flexible young employees with desire to innovate and their older, more settled colleagues, will be discussed. The specialists will share their vision with each other and enjoy a short discussion. After this you and the other students and guests will have the opportunity to react to this.
Game Round
The informal aspect of the Conference Day will be highlighted during the Game Round. All participants will be divided into different groups and compete against each other, through answering several questions on the basis of different scenario sketches.
